About Us

The Equine Health Kit was created by Amber Minson.   Recent outbreaks of Equine Herpes Virus (EHV) that have caused multiple horses to be euthanized drove the creation of the Equine Health Kit.  Amber noticed that many horse owners don't know how to monitor their horse's vitals.  She wanted to help the equestrian community at large by giving them the tools necessary to have happy and healthy rides for years to come.  Creating the Equine Health Kit is truely a labor of love.  It comes from a deep love of horses

Amber is a life-long equestrian based in California.  As an avid equestrian and dressage rider, Amber has earned bronze and silver medals from the United States Dressage Federation.  She has also worked as a veterinary assistant and riding instructor.  She currently serves as a Board member of the California Dressage Society - San Francisco Chapter.  In addition to her equestrian life, is a marketing leader with 20+ years of experience from comapnies such as Intuit, Time Warner, HSN (Home Shopping Network) and Alibaba.
